When it comes to the M-Class, comfort is more than just an opulent interior - it´s also a question of precision technology. The 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission, fitted as standard, is pure pleasure for every driver. With seven forward gears the transmission delivers excellent acceleration and low fuel consumption. And if you want to shift down manually, you don´t even have to take your hands off the wheel: a simple tap on the steering-wheel gearshift buttons and 7G-TRONIC reacts to your command. For extreme power delivery, there is a choice of two V8 engines for the M-Class: the new ML 500 with an output of 285 kW (388 hp) and a peak torque of 530 Nm and - at the very top of the range - the ML 63 AMG with an AMG 6.3-litre engine that provides breathtaking performance: with an output of 375 kW (510 hp) and a peak torque of 630 Nm, the ML 63 AMG accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds, going on to reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
