The Advanced version adds Pre-Collision Braking when a collision is judged unavoidable. It also has the existing functions of audible warning, followed by pretensioning of seatbelts and brake assist function, which provides maximum braking force when applied.

The RX 350 audio system now features full USB connectivity, allowing iPod^ content to be controlled via the integrated dash-mounted navigation screen.

Lexus also added value to the IS range with a new aggressive frontal treatment, updated wheel and tyre package, and daytime running lights and the Advanved Pre-Collision Safety system*.
